Started collecting clothing at PARCO stores as an initiative in the Circular Economy
Parco began collecting clothing and other unwanted items at PARCO 5 stores in the Kanto region on June 15.
Collection boxes have been set up in the common area of PARCO building to collect unwanted items, such as clothing and fashion goods. The collected unnecessary products are reused domestically and internationally, and those that are difficult to reuse are recycled through recycling partners.
We started at Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Chofu, Kichijoji, and Hibarigaoka PARCO. We plan to expand it to other areas in the future.
PARCO is committed to the Circular Economy by contributing to resource recycling by reducing local waste. We also aim to increase the awareness of environmental contributions and provide more opportunities to participate in environmental activities to our customers.
This initiative is in collaboration with ECOMMIT Co., Ltd., which develops infrastructures for a recycling-oriented society and conducts reuse and recycle businesses, to recover unneeded products by utilizing PASSTO resource recycling service provided by the company.
