PARCO signed a basic agreement on strategic collaboration with a leading Korean department store, the Hyundai Department Store, also known as a "culture-oriented department store."

In conjunction with the conclusion of this agreement, for approximately two months from May 10, we are holding a POPUP event in Shibuya PARCO entitled "THE HYUNDAI×PARCO Limited Store with NUGU" in which nine Korean fashion brands change every week.
The K brands that Hyundai Department Stores has discovered and have grown into K (South Korea) fashion icons have attracted the attention of the Z generation, and all of the brand shops have been very bustling every day.
Following the event in Shibuya PARCO, we plan to hold tours at PARCO around the country.

Just as K-POP artists/Korean TV shows have been highly acclaimed around the world, Seoul is an Asian city with a strong ability to communicate internationally.
Based on the Shibuya PARCO, which disseminates Tokyo culture, PARCO aims to enhance the brand value of PARCO both domestically and overseas. We view Seoul as a strategically crucial city.
Shibuya and Seoul are information-transmitting urbans that attract tourists from around the world.
By communicating their appeal to each other in these two cities and through the collaboration between Shibuya PARCO and Hyundai Department Stores, we will further enhance our ability to disseminate information worldwide.
Hyundai Department Stores is a major Korean department store chain that currently operates 16 department stores nationwide.

THE HYUNDAI SEOUL, which opened in February 2021 and became a new tourist spot in Seoul, is called the "Korean Shibuya PARCO" by some, and is characterized by many points in common with the Shibuya PARCO.

Through the conclusion of this basic agreement, we are considering not only the development of South Korean contents and culture at PARCO stores, but also the future development of TOKYO culture and Japanese-originated contents in South Korea, with the Shibuya PARCO and PARCO's entertainment businesses at the core.
