Shin-Tokorozawa PARCO held a closing ceremony on February 29, 2024
Shin-Tokorozawa PARCO, which opened on June 23, 1983, closed its doors on February 29, 2024, after 40 year's of operations that were loved by the locals.
In February, the last month of the store's operation, we held a month-long "Thank You for 40 Years, Shin-Tokorozawa PARCO Goodbye Festival" to express our gratitude for the past 40 years.
On February 29, the last day of the store's operation, the "Shintoko-PARCO Goodbye Festival" was held at the Galleria between PARCO and Let's buildings. There, performances by artists associated with PARCO and Shin-Tokorozawa PARCO enlivened the last hour.
At the closing ceremony, which started at 8:00 p.m., about 2,000 customers, mainly local residents, as well as TV and news media, gathered, and the store manager of Shin-Tokorozawa PARCO delivered a closing greeting. The closing ceremony was a touching finale.
Shin-Tokorozawa PARCO has been closed as of February 29, 2024.
