PARCO's 2023 PARCO GRAND BAZAR Advertising won the Excellent Award in the Transit Advertising Awards 2024
PARCO's 2023 PARCO GRAND BAZAR Advertising in-vehicle CM won the Excellent Award in the Digital Media category out of several divisional awards in the Transit Advertising Awards 2024, one of the largest transportation advertising awards in Japan.
This CM, featuring illustrations by Harumi Yamaguchi from the 1970s and 1980s, stood out visually in a colorful and beautiful view of the train on JR Line. In addition, PARCO's intention to express the work as an update to a modern sense, not just a remake of a previous work, was conveyed and appreciated.
We believe that DNA of PARCO's advertising, which has been engaging with creators since its founding in 1969, pursuing creativity and expressing it in a manner that reflects the contexts of the times, has been recognized highly.
We will continue to propose new advertisements that can be expressed only in that age.
The "Transit Advertising Awards" is an award held by JR East Planning to celebrate the achievements of selecting excellent works from among the one-year transportation advertisements posted to East Japan in the past. The award dates back to 1956, which is one of the largest transportation advertising awards in Japan with a very long history.
