Processing of Customers' Personal Information

Compliance with Related Laws, Guidelines, etc.
With respect to the processing of personal information
we comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003; hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act") and other laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning the protection of personal information and privacy.
Acquisition of Personal Information
We acquire personal information only through legal and fair means.
Control of Personal Data
We take the following measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage to personal data and to ensure personal data is otherwise managed appropriately.

(Establishing a basic policy)
・This basic policy has been established to ensure the proper handling of personal information and to provide a point of contact for questions and complaints.
(Developing rules for handling personal data)
・Establish internal rules for handling acquisition, use, storage, deletion, disposal, etc.
(Organizational security management measures)
・Establish a position responsible for handling personal data (Chief Privacy Officer)

・Implement access control to limit the scope of personal information handled and the persons responsible for handling personal information
(Understanding external environments)
・In the case that personal information is stored overseas, maintain an understanding of the systems in place for the protection of personal information in the relevant location and inspect related security management measures
Personal Information Retention Period
In the event that the retention period of personal information stipulated by law expires, or such personal information is no longer necessary for the purpose of use stated in "Purpose of Use of Personal Information" below, such personal information shall be deleted without delay.
Shared Use of Personal Information
(1) PARCO will share your personal information with Group Companies, including handling in the Group’s integrated database, regardless of whether it is collected directly by PARCO or Group Companies.

(2) PARCO and Group Companies will share personal information only for the purpose of use specified below.

(3) Items of personal information to be shared include name (membership number and other control ID number), address, phone number, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, occupation, title and purchase history.

(4) PARCO will take responsibility for managing the shared use of personal information collected by PARCO. In addition, if we receive a request for disclosure, correction, deletion, etc. of personal information acquired and jointly used by joint usage companies, we will cooperate with the joint usage company as necessary.

Provision of Personal Information to a Third Party
Except as provided by law, we do not provide personal information to any third party without the consent of the customer.
Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, Processing of Complaints, Objection, Withdrawal of Consent, etc. of Personal Information
In accordance with laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information, we will respond to requests for disclosure, correction, and suspension of use of personal information, as well as complaints and objections.
In addition, your consent to the processing of personal information may be withdrawn at any time.
Compliance Program for the Protection of Personal Information
In order to effectuate this policy, we formulated and implemented a compliance program for protecting personal information and we maintain and continuously improve this program by disseminating it to our employees and other concerned parties.

Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The personal information that we obtain will be used as follows. When we acquire personal information, we will notify or publish the purpose of use in an appropriate manner.

1. Customer Information (Use Based on Customer's Consent, or Use for the Performance of a Contract with Customer)
(1) For communication purposes regarding products and services handled by PARCO and Group Companies and sales promotions including direct mail and information and advertisements regarding our services (including personalized offers for each customer)
(2) In order to respond to customer feedback and requests received from customers through customer opinion boxes at PARCO stores and inquiry forms on our website, in addition to inquiries concerning products purchased from PARCO and Group Companies and services provided by PARCO and Group Companies
(3) For lottery contests and prize shipments to winners in PARCO store campaigns, PARCO campaigns and Group Company campaigns
(4) For identification, managing customers, shipping products, and payments at directly managed PARCO stores, POCKET PARCO and any PARCO websites
(5) For implementation of e-mail magazines, campaigns, questionnaires, and privileges by PARCO stores and entertainment divisions
(6) For marketing research for the planning and development of the products and services handled by PARCO and Group Companies, the improvement of store floors and online sites, etc., integrated analysis of customer information and statistical data creation through analyzing purchase history, action history, browsing history, etc.

2. Supplier Information (Use for Performance of Agreements with Suppliers)
(1) For the proper and smooth execution of business operations with respect to our business purposes
3. Employment and Employee Information (Use Based on Consent or Use for Performance of Contract)
(1) For operations related to recruitment selection and employment procedures
(2) For employment management of employees
4. Specific Personal Information (Use to Fulfill Legal Obligations [Under the Individual Number Law*])
(1) For employment management of employees
(2) For employee holding associations and asset-building savings businesses
(3) For business related to preparation and submission of statutory payment records, etc.
(4) For other businesses stipulated in the Individual Number Law*

5. Job Applicant Information Collected by Receiving Entrustment for Processing Personal Information from Tenants, etc. (Use for Performance of Agreements with Tenants)

If a customer wishes for his or her retained personal data to be disclosed based on relevant laws and regulations, it is necessary to submit an application by submitting a "Retained Personal Data Notice/Disclosure Request Form" designated by us. Please contact the person in charge of information management.
In addition, for any questions regarding our handling of personal information, please contact the personnel responsible for information management below. With regard to the processing of personal information, a complaint may be submitted to the Personal Information Protection Commission and other supervisory bodies.
