Action plan based on the Advancement of Women Act

PARCO CO., LTD has formulated an action plan based on The Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace as detailed below.

April 1, 2016 – February 28, 2021

(2)Target indicators and initiatives

【1】FY 2020: Average of 10 days annual paid leave taken (five days as of February 2015)

Specific target initiatives
・Vacations of eight consecutive days or longer taken two times a year in order to completely use 120 annual set days off
・Flexi-time system introduced companywide to enable working styles unrestricted by time
・Continued implementation of ‘no-overtime’ days
・Mobile working system expanded to enable working styles unrestricted by time or location

【2】March 2020: Women in more than 20% of managerial roles (11.1% as of March 2015)

Specific target initiatives
・Identify and cultivate female managerial candidates, and proactively provide younger female employees with opportunities that lead to improved career awareness
・Expand work opportunities for employees with time constraints (e.g. support the use of last-minute baby-sitting services, extend period of reduced working hours for childcare, etc.)
